The Twilight Brigade is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1997 and headquartered in the West Los Angeles VA Facility, VISN 22. We are focused on improving the last days of the estimated between 1,900 and 2,500 veterans who die each day in the United States.
The Twilight Brigade is a leader in providing and standardizing end-of-life care for Veterans. It meets the unique needs of the dying Vet and their survivors, with significant results. Our ability to grow and meet the needs of all dying veterans depends on you!
We
are honoring the tenth anniversary of 9/11 and the 150th anniversary of the Civil War by launching the 11/11 Campaign to
sustain and expand our activities.

The need is great. The Veterans Administration estimates that between 1,900 and 2,500 veterans are dying every day, with 800 of these World War II veterans. Too many have little to no family and friends. In the end-of-life or hospice program, the volunteer is an essential component to a successful program. The Twilight Brigade is dedicated to bringing that component into every VA palliative and end- of- life unit in the country. We have a lot of work to do to achieve that goal, with the support of generous and service-oriented Americans and corporations we will achieve this goal!
